  • First laboratory rotation

  • Continue core curriculum courses: Introduction to Biomedical Informatics (II); Introduction to Biomedical Data Science (II); Biomedical Informatics and Data Science Journal Club and Seminar Series​
  • Second and third laboratory rotation

  • Choose thesis adviser and begin thesis research. Additional Advanced Topics and/or relevant Elective course

  • Mentored teaching experience (including teaching pedagogy workshops) – one course in either Fall or Spring-Summer
